Code Grangemouth Ltd – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Code Grangemouth Ltd. By signing up for membership or using our facilities, you agree to the following terms and conditions.



1. Membership


1.1 Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred or shared.

1.2 You must be at least 16 years old to join.

1.3 All members must complete a health questionnaire before using the gym.

1.4 You agree to inform us of any changes to your contact or health details.



2. Payments


2.1 Membership fees are payable in advance by direct debit or other approved payment methods.

2.2 It is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time.

2.3 If a payment is missed, access to the gym may be suspended until the balance is cleared.



3. Cancellations and Notice Period


3.1 You may cancel your membership at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice.

3.2 All cancellation requests must be emailed to contact@codegym.uk.

3.3 The 30-day notice period begins from the date your email is received.

3.4 Membership fees will continue to be collected during the notice period.

3.5 No refunds will be issued for unused days within the 30-day notice period.



4. Freezes and Pauses


4.1 You may request to temporarily freeze your membership (for example, due to illness or travel).

4.2 Membership freezes are at the gym’s discretion and may require supporting evidence.

4.3 No fees will be refunded for past periods before a freeze request is approved.



5. Gym Rules


5.1 Members must follow all health, safety, and conduct rules displayed in the gym.

5.2 Proper gym attire and footwear must be worn at all times.

5.3 Equipment must be wiped down and returned after use.

5.4 Aggressive, unsafe, or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in membership termination without refund.

5.5 Members are expected to maintain appropriate personal hygiene at all times. This includes arriving in clean clothing and clean indoor footwear suitable for training, and ensuring the body is reasonably clean and free from strong or offensive odours. For the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of all members and staff, management reserves the right to refuse entry or request that a member leave the facility if hygiene standards are not met.



6. Health and Safety


6.1 You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to exercise.

6.2 Please inform a staff member immediately of any injury or accident.

6.3 Code Gym is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage unless caused by our negligence.



7. Personal Belongings


7.1 We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

7.2 Lockers are provided for temporary use only and must be emptied daily.



8. Data Protection


8.1 We process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws.

8.2 By joining, you agree that we may contact you regarding your membership and gym updates.



9. Changes to Terms


9.1 Code Gym reserves the right to update these terms with reasonable notice.

9.2 The latest version will always be available at www.codegym.uk and displayed in the gym.
